DTU Space B330
New research building for DTU Space – B330

Jönsson Entreprise A/S is developing and constructing DTU Space's new research facilities for future space research. The new building – B330 – is being developed in close integrated collaboration with Artelia Danmark, CCO Arkitekter and DTU as the client. The starting point is sustainability, interdisciplinary, innovation and with a continuous focus on accommodating future space research in Denmark and Europe.

What are we building?
Jönsson Entreprise A/S is building DTU Space's new research building as a turnkey contract. The building is being developed in close collaboration with Artelia Danmark, who, together with CCO Arkitekter, are the turnkey consultants on the project.
The client for this year-long joinery project in the Nørrebro gave a clear brief of what they wanted: an open, light, ‘beachy’ look; a kitchen island that would catch the eye; and clean, uncluttered spaces.
Within those parameters, however, the team was heavily involved in the design and given license to contribute ideas. In the kitchen they used ‘Classic Nørrebro panels, shark nose handles on the cabinets and pocket slider doors to hide the kettle, toaster and other appliances when not in use.

Copenhagen Capital of Denmark, Downtown Infrastructure Development Programmed has dramatically transformed the ferry terminal, København Quarter areas.
These improvements will improve accessibility and flexibility for users – tourists and locals alike – and act as an important hub for public transport, leisure and shopping. Working in a collaborative model with Copenhagen Transport as part of the construction Joint Venture, careful planning of the construction staging and phasing ensured disruption was minimised throughout the project.

We’re helping Port of Copenhagen prepare for the future by constructing a new multi-purpose wharf large enough to handle the largest vessels expected to visit Denmark in the next 30 years.

At 350 metres long and 34 metres wide, Port of Copenhagen new wharf will be able to handle larger ships, and more of them, improving operational performance. We work side by side with our port clients in operational port environments making sure operations continue throughout construction.
