Engholmvej, Lisbjerg

Engholmvej, Lisbjerg is an approximately 2.5 km long road project that runs from Djursland Motorway and northwest of Lisbjerg to Randersvej. The purpose of the road is to direct traffic west of Lisbjerg. 

Engholmvej, Lisbjerg is an approximately 2.5 km long road project that runs from the Djursland Motorway and northwest of Lisbjerg to Randersvej.

 

The purpose of the road is to direct traffic west of Lisbjerg. 1.5 km of the road is being built over existing agricultural land, while the last part is the reconstruction of the existing Ølstedvej.

 

Two rainwater basins will be constructed and an existing piped watercourse will be opened. A recreational hill landscape will also be established on the eastern side of the road. The project has a strong focus on sustainability.

The contract included the following main works and quantities:

  • Excavation and incorporation / laying of 000 m3 of soil and 110,000 m3 of raw soil.

  • Delivery and installation of 13,000 m3 of bottom protection and 11,000 m3 of crushed concrete.

  • Drainage; 3,100 m concrete pipes and 4,050 m PVC pipes

  • Establishment of 6,100 m of drains

  • Light poles: 210 pcs.

  • Power cable: 9,800 m

  • Laying of 4,100 m of curbs

  • Establishment of 1 bicycle tunnel

  • Laying 42,000 m2 of asphalt

  • Establishment of 2 rainwater basins
