The attractive city center
Renovation of Grenå city center, Stage 1
Renovation of Grenaa city centre as part of the implementation of the master plan "The attractive city centre". Stage 1 included renewal of the square between the Town Hall, Djurslands Bank and Arresten with approx. 3,200 m² of new paving, planting of 18 new trees and installation of new urban space furniture. In addition, Jönsson Entreprise carried out various wiring work in connection with the establishment of a new water art on the square.

The contract included the following main works and quantities:

Delivery and laying of approximately 2,250 m² of brick clinker with gravel joints

Delivery and installation of approx. 450 m² of concrete tiles including waterproof joints and installation of fountain elements

Laying of approximately 500 m² of cobblestones and paving stones

Delivery and installation of 35 lbm granite stairs
-
Delivery and installation of 70 lbm granite curbstones (Nordic granite)

Delivery and installation of approximately 200 lbm of steel edging

Rerouting of sewers and replacement of grease traps, including looping of existing pipes

Establishment of supply for fountain

Base structures for all of the above areas

Establishment of 100 lbm fiber cables for cable owners

Planting of 18 new trees and replanting of 9 existing trees including supplementing root-friendly substrate for existing trees

Delivery and installation of 17 lamps including supply and electrical outlet

Delivery and installation of urban space furniture/inventory.
